Mental Health – Preventing Schizophrenia through Dream Therapy

imagesI’m going to show you with my own example how I was cured from my depression and neurosis through dream therapy when I was young before becoming schizophrenic like my father. I use my example because I can tell you everything about me, while I don’t have the right to publish the dreams many people send me for a private dream translation, or their life stories.

I started looking for psychotherapy in 1984, when my cousin and my mother-in-law had died in the same week of June, and I was pregnant. My son was born on October of this horrible year. My healthy baby was the only positive event I can remember from that period of time.

Before all misfortunes I was gladly waiting for my baby and reading everything I could find about pregnancy and how to be a good mother. Suddenly, my young cousin died in a train accident, and my adored mother-in-law died for suffering from a brain spin. My husband and I had to give support to my father-in-law and my brother-in-law.

I didn’t know how to cook and I was an inexperienced mother. My mother was giving support to her sister because she lost her 18-years-old daughter, my cousin Efi. Therefore, my mother had stopped helping me with my daily tasks.

I had to visit my aunt many times too, in order to give her my support. My dearest cousin Efi was too young. She died in a train accident while I was in the sixth moth of my pregnancy. I remembered many times the car accident I had suffered when I was 15-years-old.

This shocking situation obliged me to desperately look for psychotherapy. I didn’t have any courage to go on. I was always afraid and always irritated with everything.

At that time, I saw a vivid dream that seemed to be very important. I couldn’t forget it. I decided to write it down in a piece of paper, hoping that some day I would be able to understand its meaning.

I cared so much about the meaning of dreams exactly because I frequently had vivid dreams.

Besides this fact, my great literary talent helped me understand the meaning of the poetic and philosophic dream language much better than Carl Jung, who was a scientist and couldn’t perceive the unconscious poetry.

I knew that my dreams were telling me something very important. This strong intuition made me seriously study Jung’s method, and discover the anti-conscience that generates all mental illnesses within our human conscience. This was my real mission.

I confirmed that Carl Jung had really discovered the right method of dream interpretation. I refined and simplified his method. This was a difficult task. However, really difficult was my obligation to help you find sound mental health through dream therapy even if you suffer from a sever mental illness.

I had to become a psychiatrist in order to cure myself. Then, I had to cure many people through dream therapy into practice for two decades. The real doctor is the unconscious mind, but I have to put the unconscious lessons into practice and help everyone find sound mental health. I’m a doctor too.

This is a very serious responsibility, but I assume it without fear.

You’ll verify that the meaning of dreams is so revealing that when you know the dream language, you gradually become a doctor. The unconscious mind teaches you everything about yourself, about other people, and about the world.

You learn many insight secrets about the content of everyone’s psychological content. You have information about everyone and about everything. You are also able to predict the future development of your reality. You discover the existence of another dimension in your life, and the existence of another level of consciousness in your mind.

You’ll discover that you can become a genius through dream translation because you have this capacity. When you eliminate your wild anti-conscience through dream therapy, you have the chance to finally use your entire brain on your behalf.

I was very lucky because I found the free treatment through dream interpretation when I was desperately looking for psychotherapy. I couldn’t have a treatment with a psychotherapist because I had no money, and I had to be with my baby. I also had to be a good housewife, and cook special food for my baby. I also had to cook for my husband, his father and his brother, while I didn’t know how to cook. I had to learn it into practice, by reading many books and following various recipes.

My husband and I used to eat everyday at his parent’s house because his mother’s food was excellent and she was an angel. She told us that she would always cook for us, and take care of our baby. However, she never met her grandson. We missed her very much.

Everyone was in a terrible psychological condition with two deaths in the family. When I told my husband that I needed psychotherapy he told me that he needed it too, but he had to work all day.

We had many unexpected expenses, besides many expenses with the baby. Everything was impossible.

Fortunately I could spend money buying books, and I found psychotherapy by learning how to translate the meaning of my own dreams.

Here is the dream I had in 1984:

I was in an elevator with a man, but I couldn’t see his face. We were going up. I was feeling uncomfortable for being alone with him because I was a married woman.

In the end I saw a very old woman who told me something I couldn’t remember when I woke up. This old woman was very strange.

I couldn’t understand the meaning of this dream in 1984 and 1985, while I was studying various different methods of dream interpretation. I studied Eric From, Pearls, Kernel, and many others, until I understood that only Carl Jung’s method could really decipher the meaning of dreams.

In 1986 I started seriously following Jung’s method of dream interpretation. I started writing down all my dreams in a dream journal, while before I would write down only the dreams that seemed to be interesting.

This was a very important decision! As soon as I started keeping a dream journal and writing down all my dreams, my progress in dream interpretation was tremendous!

You have to keep a dream journal and write down all your dreams everyday if you want to really learn the dream language, and successfully solve your problems. Without keeping a dream journal you won’t be able to understand anything.

In 1987 I finally understood the meaning of a few dream symbols. I read again the dream I had written in 1984 and I understood that this man without a face who was with me at the elevator, was my animus.

I couldn’t understand anything else. However, this information helped me understand that my marriage was in danger.

The truth is that I didn’t love my husband. I got married to him because he was a very good friend and he insisted very much on having a relationship with me. My marriage was the worst mistake I made in my life.

In 1987, when I analyzed my old dream, I understood that I would enter into contact with my animus, which represented my perfect match. I got married to a man I didn’t love, but my real preferences would appear at my conscious surface. This is why I was going up in the elevator with this man.

Whenever we go up in dreams, we go to the conscious surface. Therefore, the fact that I was going up with my animus meant that I would understand who the man I really loved was. The fact that we were going up by elevator and not by stairs means that I would suddenly understand this truth. However, in 1987 I couldn’t understand this part of the dream yet.

In 1988 I finally met my animus in my daily life, and I instantly fell in love with him. I was married, and my son was three years old. He was married too. He was older than me; he could be my father. He had children too.

In 1988 I could completely translate the meaning of the dream I saw in 1984.

This dream was a prediction. I t was showing me that I would meet my perfect match in my real life, and I would be tempted to repeat a mistake repeated by many generations: adultery.

The mysterious old woman in the end of the dream represented a sin.

I understood that I was always so depressed and angry not only because I lost my cousin and my mother-in-law, but because I got married to the wrong person. I couldn’t be happy if I was living with a man I didn’t love.

However, in 1989 the unconscious mind showed me in my dreams that I had inherited too much absurdity into my anti-conscience, the wild side of my conscience, and I was not merely depressed or neurotic. I was in fact already schizophrenic. My human conscience was practically lost.

If I would betray my husband, I would become a victim of schizophrenia and spread terror everywhere. My mental health was in a very dangerous condition.

If I would have an affair with the man I fell in love with, I would have to face many conflicts and pass through many deceptions. Our relationship would be disastrous.

Besides this fact, we had many enemies. His children and my husband would never accept our relationship. Later, my son would condemn me too.

I would surely suffer from a nervous crisis. This was the vision I had in 1989, when I became a real expert on dream translation.

The unconscious mind showed me very clearly in my next dreams that my animus would destroy my personality and my life. He was a cruel and absurd man. I had to stay far away from him in order to save my sanity.

I obeyed the saintly unconscious mind, and I never met this man again, even though I adored him. The unconscious mind condemned me for being a terrible sinner, ready to accept immorality. I was ashamed of my behavior.

This was an unpleasant prediction, but thanks to this prediction I could preserve my mental stability. Dream interpretation was a true salvation for me.
